Referencing indoor handball shoes from adidas’s retro catalog, the Bright Blue adidas Handball Spezial features a velvety suede upper. This soft, buttery material serves as a base for the Bright Blue, giving this electric color more depth than leather could provide. In contrast, the signature serrated 3-Stripes logo and the heel mustache come in smooth, Vivid Red leather. In terms of branding, "SPEZIAL," is printed along the 3-Stripes in metallic gold, on the outer side panel. Completing the look, the tongue tag is made of a Vivid Red woven material with metallic gold lettering.
