A Hand-tufted rug sheds a lot for the first few weeks, the reason is the rug fiber is freshly trimmed, here are the tips to take care of your rug, and it will last a decade with you. – Keep away from high traffic areas. – Do not use sharp objects or scrub the rug. – Vacuum it regularly, not strong vacuum mode. – Keep it in the sunshine & dust it once in a while. – If keeping furniture on the rug please stick some kind of rubber/silicon protector under the leg of the furniture. – If any thread comes out, do not pull it, gently cut it with scissors. – If spilled any Drink, Food, or something which can cause stains on the rug, blot liquid spills with a paper towel or clean absorbent cloth, do not rub or scrub. – For proper cleaning contact a specialist carpet cleaner.
