Origin: Originally conceived in 1989 as a performance basketball shoe, the New Balance 550, known then as the P550 Oxford, was designed by Steven Smith. This initial iteration, however, failed to achieve significant recognition, fading into obscurity shortly after its release. The model's resurgence, however, would be masterminded decades later.
Construction: The 'Lakers Pack - Vibrant Orange' iteration features a low-top silhouette with a paneled design and a blend of materials.
