The Nike Air Foamposite One Supreme Black represents a collaboration between adidas and the streetwear icon Supreme. The result is a singular, eye-catching iteration of NBA star Penny Hardaway's signature shoe.
The black Foamposite upper of the Supreme Black Nike Air Foamposite One has grooves throughout, as well as gold graphics of swaying flowers and leaves. Black textile forms the eyestays and tongue for a comfortable, secure fit. Pull tabs at the heel and tongue help facilitate on/off. Penny Hardaway 1 Cent branding hits the heel. Under foot, air cushioning helps provide springy bounce, and a black and white carbon fiber shank helps distribute weight evenly and offers stability at the midfoot. All this rides on a translucent rubber outsole.
The details we most appreciate on this bold shoe are the subtle hits of branding on the upper. The word Supreme appears in the artwork of a golden frond at the lateral collar, while a tonal embroidered Nike mini Swoosh graces the lateral toe box.
