Description: The Santos de Cartier watch, size MM, is powered by the manufacture automatic movement Caliber 1847 MC. The case is crafted from 18K yellow gold and features a heptagonal crown set with a faceted sapphire. The dial is silvered opaline with blue steel sword-shaped hands and protected by sapphire crystal. It comes with an 18K yellow gold bracelet equipped with the “SmartLink” adjustment system. A second alligator leather strap with an interchangeable 18K yellow gold deployant buckle is originally included, both featuring the “QuickSwitch” system for easy interchangeability (leather strap removed for international shipping due to CITES). Case size is 35.1 mm with a thickness of 8.83 mm. Water-resistant up to 100 meters. Originally created in 1904 for Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, the Santos is one of the world’s first wristwatches and remains an iconic design of Cartier, featuring rounded corners, harmonious curves, and signature screw motifs.
