This might be one of the craziest as well as rarest Cartier watches we’ve had the pleasure to offer. Super rare and fancy factory „sertissage“ Cartier Santos Vendôme in unpolished and nearly unworn condition accompanied by the original box, booklets and service papers. The dial is in perfect condition without any patina to it. The case is definitely unpolished and has rarely been worn, it already has a darker tone of gold due to the long time it has been stored in a vault by the former owner. Gold takes a long time to get this red toned color, so it must’ve been stored away for decades. The diamond setting on the watch has been done in a superior quality and the way they have been set not only on the bezel but also the sides of the case as well as the crown elevates the look by a lot. The bracelet has no stretch to it and is in perfect condition too. The way the diamonds have been set is unlike most of the usual settings we know from all the different Cartier Santos models and is super rare. The watch is accompanied by the original „Or Massif“ box and the at least as rare Cartier Santos Vendôme booklet as well as service papers from the mid nineties which I believe was the last time this watch left the vault. The battery powered quartz movement has recently been checked and runs properly.
